The Queen of Gravel shines at both SBT GRVL and the Gravel Worlds
August 14 saw the SBT GRVL race held: 228km of pure gravel around Steamboat Springs, Colorado, USA.
Winning in the women's category, at a stratospheric average of 33.6km per hour, was Lauren De Crescenzo of the Cinch Cycling team, riding a Colnago G3-X. It was a triumphant victory, 13 minutes ahead of the second placed rider.
Five days later, on August 19, in another very tough competition - the Garmin Gravel Worlds, 247km for almost 3,000m of elevation gain - it was again Lauren who crossed the finish line first, this time giving more than 14 minutes to her closest pursuer.
